Massage Therapy
Massage is one of the oldest forms of therapy which is still used today to help bring your body back in harmony with itself and to restore complete balance throughout. Plus as a mobile therapist, you can experience pure bliss within the comforts of your own home. So whether you are looking for a deep and peaceful experience, or you require rehabilitation from an sports injury, we can provide the professional service you require at a superb rate.
Holistic MassageMassage has been employed by businesses and organisations such as the U.S. Department of Justice, Boeing and Reebok. Peer-reviewed medical research has shown that the benefits of massage include pain relief, reduced anxiety and depression, and temporarily reduced blood pressure and heart rate. The benefits can be felt by all ages, backgrounds and lifestyles. According to the Massage Association, research has verified that office workers massaged regularly were more alert, performed better and were less stressed than those who weren't massaged.
Sports MassageThe 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta was the first time that massage was offered as a core medical service. This deep tissue massage is designed to relieve severe tension in the muscle and the connective tissue or fascia. This type of massage focuses on the muscles located below the surface of the overlaying muscles.
This treatment is recommended for individuals who experience consistent pain, are involved in heavy physical activity, such as athletes, and patients who have sustained physical injury.
We can do full body massage or any body part that is needed for treatment. Treatments are timed for 10min pre or post event massage, 60min or 90min or 120min.
Why do I need a massage?
Why not? Your body deserves it. When was the last time you felt yourself at complete ease? Away from the kids, away from the office desk, away from the phone constantly ringing, away from the car driving through city centre traffic. Just have one hour to take yourself away from it all to feel the difference it can make.
How long should I be treated for?
Of course, this is entirely up to you, but it is best to always start with a 60 minute session so the therapist can analyse and get to know and understand your body. Speak to the therapist about what course of action should be taken. Here is a list of possibilities below:
A full body treatment, 90-120 minutes for a thorough treatment.
Pre and post event (sport specific), 20 minutes.
1-2 body part, 60 minutes
2-4 body parts, 60-90 minutes
